Everyone has an IT Factor and it’s our job to help you discover yours and broadcast it to the world.
I spent the bulk of my childhood on stage, and passionately pursued acting and comedy as a young adult. In the early 2000’s, I started watching this TV show called, “The IT Factor”, which chronicled the lives of actors auditioning for their big break.
At the time, I was in a competitive sketch comedy training program at Second City in Chicago and was laser focused on landing my dream job one day on Saturday Night Live. This show was fascinating to me because I could relate to these actors, who felt like they were under the microscope, while others decided whether they were “special enough” for the job.
That “special enough” quality was their IT Factor.
I suffered a life altering situation while I was at Second City, stopping my comedy career in its tracks. I’ll spare you the details, but it was traumatic and impacted my life in ways that I am still unpacking.
I spent the next decade believing that I had no IT Factor, that there was nothing truly remarkable about me.
And then, the clouds broke.
I realized I allowed someone else to determine my worth. I allowed someone else to decide that I wasn’t “special enough”, that I didn’t have that IT Factor.
And that was a bunch of bullshit.
We all have an IT Factor. We just need help discovering what it is, and the right messaging and strategy to broadcast our IT Factor to the world.
We are all “special enough”. In fact, we are so much more.
I am dedicated to helping my clients discover what their IT Factor is, so that they are empowered to conquer their life’s dreams.
